BASC Patron, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, visited the Association’s headquarters in Rossett yesterday to officially launch the BASC Wildlife Fund.

Her Royal Highness, who accepted patronage of BASC in October 2022, met with BASC staff and Council members during her visit. Central to the day was the launch of the BASC Wildlife Fund, with The Princess Royal speaking of the conservation benefits brought by shooting and it’s people.

Her Royal Highness unveiled this year’s BASC Wildlife Fund stamp artwork, titled ‘Capercaillie in the Cairngorms’, by renowned wildlife artist Simon Trinder. She was also presented with a framed print of the artwork on the day.
